The glass unit is one of the most important elements of your new window. It is about 90% of the whole window! HeatSeal heat reflective coatings are microscopically thin layers of metal & metal oxide that act like a filter – some energy is transmitted, and some energy is reflected.
High Performance HeatSeal Spacer
Glass panes are separated by a spacer, with their main function sealing the gas space between them. The majority of windows, unlike ours, are made with metal spacers. The main disadvantage to metal spacers is energy loss and condensation. Our HeatSeal Spacer and sealant system are made with 6 non-metallic components. This HeatSeal Spacer guarantees your home the warmest glass and least condensation possible.

InsulKor technology is a system of sash and frame enhancements that dramatically improves the performance of Series 1800 windows. Our exclusive Insulkor fiberglass-enriched polyurethane sash reinforcement yields better energy-efficiency while maintaining the structural integrity of traditional metal reinforcement.

Yankee Home started because I got ripped off. Years ago, I hired a contractor for what should’ve been a simple job. I handed over a $2,500 deposit—and then… nothing. No work ever started. No materials ever showed up. Just excuse after excuse, until he stopped answering altogether.
I felt completely taken advantage of. And I couldn’t stop thinking—if this could happen to me, how many other homeowners are going through the same thing?
That experience took me back to my roots. I grew up in Ireland, where my dad was a tradesman. He taught me to take pride in your work, to show up, and to always do right by people. I realized that’s exactly what was missing in the home improvement world here.
So I built Yankee Home to be the kind of company I wish I had hired—one that values honesty, shows up when they say they will, and does the job right the first time.
Our mission is simple: Help people love their homes without the stress, pressure, or worry that so often comes with hiring a contractor. No homeowner should ever feel taken advantage of, and if I can help make sure that doesn’t happen to someone else— then all of this is worth it.
